Why It Matters
Vogtle 3 & 4 are the only new nuclear reactors built in the U.S. in over 30 years. Despite massive cost overruns and delays, the project proved that new nuclear construction is possible in America, and provides a template (and lessons) for the nuclear renaissance now underway.
